Central Idea: Our beliefs are a part of who we are.
Art Challenge/Provocation: After reading the book The Colors Of Us, students discussed the many shades of brown that we see all around us. Then, students mixed red, yellow, black, and white to create as many shades of brown that they can make! After our self-portraits were complete, students made them come alive by using Chatter Pix!
